2/3/2009· I fell for the advice that new boots would solve the problem. My advice is if you have a lot of oil coming from the boots you should do the following: 1. Remove and thouroughly clean the IC boots, then watch for oil. 2. IF in a few months the oil has returned, do the CCV mod.

22/4/2012· Here is a pic of the hose. It did it today at work. I think it is gas that is venting out. The bike does sit in the sun at work. It was a very little that came out today a puddle the size of a nickle(had a 1/4 tank of gas), Yesterday was a much larger puddle about the size of a dollar bill( had a full tank of gas).

That hose can dribble oil down the right side of the frame then that oil runs to the lowest spot when the bike is on the side stand. That spot happens to be the oil drain hose!
